Five Chester High School Students Awarded Synygy Scholarships

Chester, Pa., June 14, 2010 Synygy Inc., the largest and most experienced provider of sales performance management (SPM) solutions and significant player in the efforts to bring economic activity to Chester’s waterfront, today announced the first five recipients of scholarship grants from a new Synygy financial aid program for college-bound seniors from Chester High School.

“Synygy’s new scholarship fund will enable some of our most deserving graduates to attend college with fewer concerns about financing their education,” said Dr. Gregory Thornton, Superintendent of the Chester Upland School District. “We are grateful for Synygy’s active investment in the young people of Chester.”

The recipients of this year’s financial awards are Markia Collins, Camry Pierce, Ashley Pless, Portia West, and Brittney Whitehead. A committee of Synygy professionals chose the scholarship recipients from among a talented field of applicants based on letters of recommendation, an essay, grades, SAT scores, and extracurricular activities. Each will receive a $500 grant to help defray tuition expenses.

“Synygy’s involvement with the local school district stretches from elementary school to high school,” said Mark A. Stiffler, Synygy president and CEO. “We are pleased to recognize the outstanding educational achievements of these graduating seniors and we wish them every success in their future endeavors.”
